Dr. Joon Muthamah is the Dental Surgeon in charge of JOON DENTAL CLINIC (Klinik Pergigian Joon).

Dr Joon completed her Degree in Dentistry from the University of Malaya in 1991.

She was then offered attachment training at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor Bahru where she worked under the supervision of Dato' Dr. Tan Nam Hoo (Consultant - Maxilo-Facial Surgery) and Dr. Chen Swee Lian (Consultant - Oral Surgery).

After some years with the government as well as the private sector, she became a founding partner of JOON DENTAL CLINIC in 2003 which was established at USJ 10 Subang Jaya (Selangor, Malaysia).

The clinic has since grown to become a known neighborhood dental clinic with excellent facilities and especially admired by patrons as a "patient-friendly" clinic where patrons are able to get all necessary information before making an informed decision on the required treatment.

As part of our service to the community, we undertake the following initiatives:

	Provide FREE Dental Check-up annually under the Colgate Palmolive-MDA sponsored one month Community Service programme.
	Maintain a Dental Information site at www.dentalclinic.my for the benefit of the public.
	Posting of general discussions on dentistry at joondental.blogspot.com.

  Sweeping, vacuuming carpet and mopping tiled area of entire clinic with anti-bacterial solution.	8.00am daily. As & when need arises during clinic hours.
  Washing of toilets with anti-bacterial solution.	8.30am daily. As & when need arises during clinic hours.
  Suction mechanism, spittoon, cabinet tops – washed and rinsed with anti-bacterial solution.	8.30pm daily upon closing.
  Dental chair – seat, head rest and arm rest.	Wiped with disinfectant after each patient. Complete cleaning at 8.30pm daily.
  Table tops, chair and glass surfaces.	8.30am daily wiped with disinfectant.
  Linen, towels, re-usable cloth (to wash and hang to dry).	8.30pm daily.
  Fire extinguisher – clean and check pressure meter.	8.30am every Monday.
  Scheduled clinical waste – needles, blood stained cotton, teeth & others.	Pack into special bags and place inside Clinical Waste Bin to be collected by Sharps & Bins weekly.
  Disposables, rubbish and general waste.	Pack into large garbage bag and dispose upon closing daily.
